| Question: Is Xenadrine Sold In Canada Different Than Xenadrine Sold In The United States? |
I was wondering if there was anyone out there who has taken Xenadrine in Canada. Someone told me that the version sold here is different than the one found in the states. They weren't sure "how" different, but said that maybe the contents were altered. I've only been taking the pill for a week, once a day in the morning. After reading the reviews here, I'm too scared to take much more than that. I found it has had various effects on me. I've been extremely tired, my heart is going insane as I exercise, and I've had some bouts of diarrhea. I'm not sure if all this is worth it. I'm about 140lbs and just trying to loose about 10 pounds.

| I am Canadian and started taking the Xenadrine product three days ago. The product I bought in Hamilton, Ontario is actually the American version and contains ma huang and other ingredients. I wasn't aware that there was a Canadian version of Xenadrine - the store clerk that sold me this didn't mention that. The store clerk did say that there is a Canadian version of Hydroxycut, which is more "gentle" than the American version of Hydroxycut (i.e. no carnitine, ma huang, etc.).
I'm only taking one capsule a day, and even that is making me nervous. I'm just curious if I can kick start my metabolism as, despite my running long distance and weight training and healthy diet, I gain weight by looking at food. Back to you, it sounds like you're taking an American version of the fat burner; otherwise, you wouldn't have such side effects...just a guess.
